Majorca in a frenzy over news of Top Gear's plan to race in classic car rally

CAR enthusiasts and fans of the hit BBC2 motor show Top Gear here in the Balearics were said to have been in a frenzy yesterday after reading in the Bulletin that the show and its three presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, are going to be racing in next month's Classic Car Rally of Majorca and filming the experience for the new Top Gear series which starts this Spring.

John Graham, who is handling Top Gear here in Majorca, said that there has been a huge surge in interest in the rally in response to the story the Bulletin broke yesterday.
