20 held in major anti drugs operation in Majorca

THE Guardia Civil yesterday arrested nearly 20 people as part of the on-going narcotics investigation Operation Dorado.
The Guardia Civil drugs squad carried out a number of raids in various locations of the island.
Operation Dorado was first mounted last summer and resulted in the confiscation of 100 kilos of marijuana, various quantities of cocaine and hashish and 70'000 euros in cash.

Last night, the operation remained open and the Guardia Civil were revealing little further information bar that arrests had been made.
