PALMA airport has set up 22 internet access points for use by passengers spread out over different parts of the buildings.
The units, which are operated through placing money in a slot machine, has been developed by Fractalia Remote Systems. The company will also be responsible for maintenance and repair of the terminals. The Spanish National Airports Authority (AENA) said that some of the internet access points located near the check-in desks will have printing facilities, which means that passengers can print off their boarding cards on arrival at the terminal building.

The access to the internet comes in addition to the wi-fi connection which was set up at the airport last year. The technology is being made available to meet passenger demand.
