A new Guide to Gothic Palma is being presented by the Balearic Studies Institute which has put the publication together at the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma at 7.30 tonight.

Written by Carlos Garrido with photographs by Eduardo Miralles, the book has been published in a number of different languages, including English.
Supported by the Balearic government, the 100-page book explains Palma's history from the conquest of James I in 1129 to “Conflicts of the brotherhoods” in the mid 16th century.

The publication also includes seven Gothic routes of Palma and goes in to further detail about the history of the capital along these specific tours as well as the monuments, museums and places of general interest.
