ARCHITECT Patxi Mangado will be presenting his project for Palma's Congress Hall at a congress on contemporary Spanish architecture at Columbia University on Saturday. Mangado, whose design for the Congress Hall which will be built on the sea front won an international competition, was selected as one of 12 emblematic architects of three generations who are featured in an exhibition at MOMA, called On Site: New Architecture in Spain. King Juan Carlos is expected to attend the official opening of the exhibition.
