PALMA
SINCE being founded in 1993, Palma Pictures, the Mediterranean Production Centre has not only become one of the world's leading producers of top brand TV commercials, it has also established Majorca as one of the most popular locations for advertisement makers and directors.

Now, on the eve of a major international re-launch, Palma Pictures's casting department is looking for 1000 new faces aged between 0 and 18 for TV commercial and film work here in Majorca.

The production company, which has one of the largest studios in Europe at its headquarters on the Marratxi industrial estate, has a client base of leading companies, brands and advertising agencies which stretches the world from Spain to the UK, Dubai, the United States, Scandinavia, Russia and even Japan and, for that reason, the casting department is looking for a fresh and varied range of faces. After working for over ten years as Palma Picture's Casting Director, Lorraine Dreckett has seen the changing client demands and their quest to find more and more of their talent locally, here on the island rather than flying them in from abroad. “We try to make sure that the children who work with us have a really memorable experience and the opportunity to discover the exciting world of film. Previous experience is not necessary as the client is usually looking for a natural attitude and no over acting.
