PORT OF ANDRATX
VANDALS in the Port of Andratx went on a spree at the weekend, painting graffiti on walls and shop windows, smashing flower pots and upending street furniture.

Residents and businesspeople expressed their indignation at the destruction.
One businessman said “it's not normal that these kinds of hooligans can keep doing this at the seafront and in the centre of the port”.
The former mayor of Andratx, Jaume Porsell, who discovered the vandalism on the way back from dinner on Saturday night criticised the fact that there was only one police patrol in the town during the night.

About half the flower pots on the Calle Farmacéutico González were destroyed on one side of the road, while the glass of a clothes shop was sprayed with graffiti, as were several election posters in the town.
