STAFF REPORTER THE Council of Majorca said yesterday it was modernising its services even further with an information web site on Majorca which visitors could log on to for an exchange of information on travel and culture.

Tourism Councillor, Isabel Oliver said that the project was a pioneering one at a national level as it is the web site visitor who is iklnvited to post their photos, videos and comments. Some 80'000 euros has been set aside to develop the network which offers up-to-the-moment information on Majorca. Oliver said www.informallorca.net is available in four languages, Catalan, Castillian Spanish, English and German so that it is “open to everybody.” Plans, meanwhile are afoot to add French and Italian to the facility. She added that the page is easy to navigate - “all is at the click of a button.”
