Ses Salines.—Thousands of people flocked to Ses Salines yesterday for the annual fair and no body was disappointed.
Accompanied by perfect weather, the centre of the town was a hive of market traders, craftsmen and women, musicians, food and drink.
The town's May fair has become one of the most popular on the island and yesterday, Ses Salines showed off all its potential with the local authorities extremely pleased with the fantastic image it is providing for the town and that it is attracting thousands of people from across the island.

Mayor, Maria Bonet, said that the fair offers an alternative attraction for holiday makers as well. “It's something completely different from lying on the beach or by the pool. We offer a mixture of Majorcan culture, food, arts and crafts and traditions which tourists who do come, enjoy a great deal,” she said.
