WORK strated in tghe Port of Soller yesterday on laying nearly 10 kilometres of underwater pipes to channel water from the Font del Verge spring in Sa Costare. The gigantic platform ship Crawler will spend the next five days preparing for the complicated engineering feet. As a result, maritime access to the port is restricted for the rest of the week. This stage is an important part of the project to channel water from Font del Verger to Son Parcs, some 45 kilometers away in Palma.
