By Humphrey Carter THE stars came out yesterday for the annual Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital last night. Top celebrities Sue Cleaver, Nicky Clarke, Claire Sweeney, Brooke Vincent and Jake Peach, who was treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital and since his recovery has become a leading fundraiser for GOSH, gathered at the Aqua Sol Hotel in Magalluf yesterday and met the five child patients from GOSH who have been treated to a holiday in Majorca with their family by one of the event sponsors First Choice along with the Melia Del Mar Hotel which is accommodating the stars.

Over the past six years the gala nights have raised over half a million euros and have funded a special ‘Pirates' treatment room at the hospital.
And, many of the Pirates' staff and performers have formed long-standing relationships with Great Ormond Street and they visit the hospital when they are in the UK.

Last night's event was also special because Pirates is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and hopes to raise a record amount of money for the world famous hospital so that it can continue to provide world-class care for its young patients and their families and pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illness.

Last night's charity auction was expected to raise a huge amount of money with items including luxury yacht and private jet trips and a seven-day holiday for two in Las Vegas up for bidding.
