PALMA.—The new look Majorca Daily Bulletin proved a huge success when it hit the streets yesterday morning, so much so that the bundle that is normally left outside Magalluf's Aqua Sol Hotel mysteriously disappeared, which left the guests without their special edition copies and descended on the ones I took along like a flock of vultures. “I always buy it” Hotel concierge Juan Martin who has worked at the hotel for twenty three years said, “It's disappointing that the papers didn't arrive this morning; when I'm not working in the winter I always buy it.” Reading the new revamped Royal Wedding edition Juan was impressed. “This looks like a National newspaper now.” The British Consul Paul Abrey was impressed as was Charlie Bridge, Tui's Majorca Area Manager who was extremely complimentary. “This is tremendous, we do a lot of fundraising for local charities and the Majorca Daily Bulletin is an ideal tool to promote our good causes.” Aron Garner of Pirates' Adventure fame exclaimed exuberantly, “Wow, all in colour and lots of news… I'm lovin' it, and just look at the sports pages, yes, it's great!” Richie Prior Globo Balear's Commercial Manager said, “I'm amazed…it's come into the 21st century; it reminds me of The Times actually.” You can't receive a better endorsement than that. God bless the new Majorca Daily Bulletin and all who sail in her!
