A group of local ecologists have slammed the authorities this week accusing them of destroying the last green area of Camp de Mar in Andratx to build new apartments and villas.
The environmental group GOB and the movement Salvem Andratx (Save Andratx) are tired of what they believe to be the saturation of that sea side area, after the start of construction work by a local company in the last few days which intends to build 69 new houses.
Authorities keep promoting the urge to build in the area but their plan is obsolete and it's causing damage, saturation and the destruction of the local landscape, they claim.
