Landslide cuts off residents

RESIDENTS of an exclusive housing development in Andratx got a shock yesterday when a landslide filled their driveway with rocks and earth.
The landslide happened at about 9am in the Calle Pagell, leaving the residents of the street cut off. “Were left in the hands of God here and nobody is helping us solve our problems.
The other day they came from the council and the only thing they did was take a photo, have a quick walk around, if I saw them I don't remember,” said an angry resident. The frustration of the residents was growing by the hour yesterday and there were fears of new landslides. “It's a luxury development and for over 30 years we have had no water and no light, the only thing that works is the rubbish collection.” added the resident.
