Palma.—Inspired by leading global flowers like the Chelsea Flower Show or Milan's Feria Orticola, Botánica Insólita opens its doors to the public in Puerto Portals this weekend.

Exhibitors include some of Majorca and Spain's best garden centres which specialise in everything from pot plants and orchids and large palm and olive trees to tropical and subtropical plants and even vegetables.

There will also be a food area which will feature exhibitors such as Beverley Pugh who is a Raw Food expert and who will be preparing eight special dishes.

Other exhibitors will also be showcasing a vast range of ecological products from soaps to teas, infusions and even ecological shoes and clothing.
There will also be a number of workshops promoting ecology and nature and these will be organised by Magatzem Verd and held today and Sunday at midday and 6pm.

And if that is not enough, then every evening from 6.30pm there will be live music with Flavia-N from Brazil, Wonderbrass and Fat Cat Reunion.
