THREE members of the Guardia Civil suffered minor injuries after clashing with two British holiday makers in Magalluf in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The Guardia Civil patrol of four was responding to a fight in one of the resort night clubs but, when they attempted to stop and question the two tourists, who had been identified by a club doorman, the Britons, aged 29 and 27, apparently reacted violently and assaulted the police.

PROSTITUTES
Eventually, the four Guardia Civil managed to over power the two Britons and contain the situation.
The security services also launched a major crackdown on prostitution in both Magalluf and Palmanova in the early hours following complaints from residents.

A total of 68 women, most of them African immigrants and many known to police in Palma, were identified.
