The Balearic Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs is giving 50'000 euros to finance the campaign “Fragile” to inform people about the dangers of the heat, as well as putting in place the necessary mechanisms for action in case of health problems associated with the heat. During a press conference yesterday to present this initiative, the Minister for Health and Consumer Affairs, Aina Castillo, highlighted the importance of drinking plenty of liquids and not doing physical exercise during the hottest parts of the day in order to prevent the harmful effects which the heat can have on one's health. Castillo said that the message of this campaign, which will be in the media, will have different subject areas, for example preventative measures, among which will be advice to drink more liquids and to wear cool clothing.
