Search given up after more than an hour

RESCUE services spent more than an hour seeking a tourist reported missing at the Es Trenc beach yesterday afternoon.
Involved in the search were the Air Rescue Squadron, Local Police from Campos and Ses Salinos and rescue launches. The alarm was raised at 4pm by a woman who said she had seen a man in difficulties. The emergency services gave up the search after an hour spent searching the sea between Es Trenc and Es Coto by land, sea and air.
