THE Palma Congress Hall company, formed by the Balearic Government and Palma Council, are to run a competition for the name of the building designed by the Navarran architect, Patxi Mangado, which will be started early next year.
The director of the future Congress Hall, Marilena Jover, said that between now and June 23 residents could propose names for the new Congress Centre through the company's website (www.pcongresosdepalma.com). The suggested names will be put on a list from which those who want to take part in the judging will be able to vote for their favourite between June 23 and 27, while on June 28 the board of directors of the company, will decide the winner from the top three. The proposer of the winning name will win a weekend in a city hotel and two suitcases.
