PALMA fire fighters and emergency services yesterday underwent a one-day intensive emergency refresher course.
On the eve of the busy summer period, fire fighters and emergency crews practised going through the process of dealing with a fire in a high-rise apartment block and a serious traffic accident involving victims trapped inside the wreckage. This is the second training exercise of the week.
Just a few days ago a major simulation was staged on board a ferry in the Port of Palma.
Last month, Majorca hosted an international petrol tanker disaster exercise.
