Di Menday from Son Ferrer, Sue Haywood, also from Son Ferrer, and Gill Hugill from Portals Nous will join a total of 14'000 women, 1'000 men and 1'000 volunteers on the night march. The three ladies from Calvia will be walking as The Mallorca A Team and each team is given a special Walk the Walk kit of a special hat, tee-shirt and bra. What is more, just to make sure fellow walkers know where The Mallorca A Team comes from, they have decorated their bras in the colours of the Spanish flag. The team has so far raised 1'500 euros but, as Di Menday says every little helps. Donations can be made on-line before Saturday mid-night by visiting www.bmycharity.com/themallorcateam or just pop into Nice Price where Di Menday works.
