A new bus service linking the centre of Palma, with the airport, was launched yesterday. It means that a bus leaves for the airport every 10 minutes and the one-stop services means that the journey time is significantly reduc ed. The service will only operate during the summer months but it is has been welcomed by the travel industry. The Airport Express leaves from the main bus station in the Plaza España. Over recent months local councils have tried to improve bus services on the island, in an effort to upgrade the transport network. The airport bus service is used by thousands of people.
