Big 4 July celebration at Palma restaurant

Palma.—Members of the American expatriate community celebrated the 4 July with a gala lunch in Palma yesterday.
The lunch was a joint venture between the Friends & Alumni of American Universities Association of Majorca and Union sin Fronteras, a non profit organization that unites citizens from different countries. The luncheon will feature festive American dishes, like hot dogs, potato salad, chips, etc. “The 4th of July is a get together to celebrate friendship”, said Tim Klein, Chairman of the Association. “We commemorate our Nation's Independence with reunions of family and friends, with barbecues at public parks or at the beach”, he added yesterday. The event was a big success.
