British couple injured in 15 metre plunge in Magalluf

Newsdesk A British couple were rushed to hospital after falling 15 metres from a lookout spot by the Torrenova apartments in Magalluf. The woman, aged about 20, who has not been named, sustained serious injuries including two broken feet and severe head injuries. The man, 19, had a lucky break, as he fell into a prickly pear which cushioned his fall. He had extensive bruises, emergency service sources said. According to police sources, the accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning, after the couple had been out drinking. They then went to the view point by the Torrenova block, where it is believed that one lost their balance and fell and the other fell while trying to save him or her.
