THE Santa Maria vineyard Macia Batle has just won six major awards for its wines at the International Wine & Spirits Challenge in London.
In the International Wine Challenge, the Macia Batle Crianza 2006 won a Silver Medal, as did the Reserva Privada 2005.
The Macia Batle Rosado was named a Recommended Wine.
In the International Wine and Spirits Challenge, the Macia Batle C Crianza 2006 was named Best In Its Class, as was the Blanc de Blancs 2008.
Its Macia Batle Reserva Privada was awarded the Bronze Medal.

MARKET SHARE
The Macia Batle vineyard is the only Majorcan wine producer which has its own exclusive distributor in the UK and is watching its share of the market grow steadily.

According to the vineyard, Macia Batle is the Majorcan wine with the biggest share of the UK market and is extremely proud of its success in “one of the most important and demanding wine markets in the world.” This year, the Macia Batle wines have already won international awards in Germany and Belgium.
