Palma.A young male British tourist was in Son Espases hospital yesterday after having been sexually assaulted by another male in Magalluf.
According to the Guardia Civil, who are handling the investigation, the attack happened in the early hours of Friday morning, but the victim did not go to the police until later that day.
It appears that the victim had been out drinking and that in one of the pubs, his drink was spiked hence why he apparently can remember little about what exactly happened.
After having been first examined at a local PAC, he was admitted to Son Espases Hospital where doctors confirmed that the man had been sexually assaulted by another male and due to the severity of the injuries suffered, should remain in hospital.
Yesterday, the victim was apparently being assisted and comforted by staff from the British Consulate.
