PARIS HILTON TO SPARKLE IN PALMA

By Humphrey Carter PARIS Hilton is heading for Palma and preparations are already underway with a stretch-Hummer driving round the island announcing the socialite's imminent arrival. The celebrity and heir to the Hilton hotel empire, one of the most sought after personalities on the planet, will be spending next weekend on the island promoting her debut single and also signing a new promotional deal. Hilton and her entourage, which it is rumoured is going to apparently include her parents, dancers and her management team, are expected to land in Palma next Friday. On Saturday 22nd, she will be performing her new single live on a special stage which is going to be erected at the beach bar in front of the GESA building along Palma's sea front. A musical spectacular is being organised and will include the former Culture Club front man and DJ Boy George and double-Grammy winning New York rapper Fatman Scoop. However, all the attention is going to be on Paris Hilton who will be performing her single Stars are Blind. On Sunday, Paris Hilton will be signing a new three-year deal on the terrace of the Son Vida Hotel to promote a new drink called Rich Prosecco, sparkling Italian white wine in a can. The product is the idea of leading Austrian hotelier Neuigkeit Gunther Aloys and, while Hilton has already presided over a number of international promotional events for the drink, she has yet to sign a formal contract - that will be done next Sunday at the luxury hotel overlooking Palma. Hilton is expected to remain on the island until the 24th but there are rumours she may extend her visit by an extra day. Sources close to the organisers of next week's event say that she and her family are familiar with Majorca and are looking forward to coming. There are also rumours that her parents may be looking at a few properties. Perhaps even a property ideal to transform into a hotel. Last year, Paris Whitney Hilton, whose nicknames are Star and Princess, was named as one of the top five most beautiful women in the world by a number of leading international magazines and the actress/tv star/model/sex symbol/writer/singer/fashion designer and business woman can expect a warm welcome during her stay on Majorca.
