THE Balearics is this weekend going to be taking part in a major Spanish promotional event in Edinburgh.
Following the huge success of the A Taste of Spain events held in Borough Market and Regents Street, London, for the past two years, this year, the Spanish Tourist Board, Turespaña, has decided to hit the road and take the three-day event to Scotland.

The Taste of Spain experience is going to be held on the famous Mound next to Princess Street and opposite the National Gallery of Scotland and coincides with the opening of The Discovery of Spain exhibition at the National Galleries of Scotland tomorrow.

The exhibition looks at the impact of Spanish culture on British art, and the fascination for collecting Spanish art and culture in Britain from the 1790s to the 1930s.
