Sa Pobla jazz festival changes location to suit its growing audience

STAFF REPORTER SA Pobla's fifteenth jazz festival which will run between 27th July and 25th August will be providing a top quality programme. In order to allow more people to attend, the venue has been changed this year to the Can Cirera Prim park. The concerts are free and take place once a week.

Antoni Oliver, director of the Balearic Tourism Institute (INESTUR) who was presenting the festival yesterday said that more than 30 artists will be appearing including Dee Dee Bridgewater (pictured). The programme emphasis will be on American and European jazz but there will also be contribution from the Balearic Islands, he confirmed.
