Palma.— Costumes from performers involved in the Alegria show from the Cirque du Solei are currently on display at El Corte Inglés in Avenidas.
The attires from the artistes will be on display for everyone to see on the attic floor until 29 August, having come from Montreal, Canada where the company is based.

Cirque du Solei will be performing in Palma from 22 August for nine days and to promote the show costumes from four of their most important artistes such as Fleur (the show guide), the nostalgic Old Bird, Tamir and The White Singer, all in immaculate condition, have been sent to Palma in advance.

Alegria, has been performed over 6'600 times for a global audience of around 14 million people, since it first started in Canada back in 1994. The company comprises of artistes and musicians from 15 different countries and the show has already passed through some 200 cities and 14 countries.

Since Alegria started its European tour in August 2011 the artistes' costumes have travelled over 1.1 million kilometres and been on display all over the continent and Russia.
