Some Palma Arena suspects released

THREE of the total seven people arrested this week in connection with the investigation into the allegedly corrupt construction of the Palma Arena velodrome have been released with charges.

After being questioned by police at the National Police station in Palma, the former Council of Majorca's Director of Sports, Antoni Palerm, an industrial engineer and an architect have been released from police custody.

Yesterday, the remaining four suspects were still being quizzed.
