Flying round the World in a helicopter

Palma. A group of Russian pilots touched down at Son Bonet aerodrome yesterday morning as part of their bid to fly round the World in two Robinson R66 helicopters.

The Round The World Tour began in Russia and enroute down to Majorca have flown over Finland, down to Italy, Minorca and now Majorca.
One of the Russian pilots is an ex-student of Sloane Helicopters Mallorca and Sloane Helicopters hosted a special welcome party for them at their offices at Son Bonet yesterday morning.
