THE regional Ministry for Tourism is to spend 180'000 euros on promoting the Balearic Islands as a golfing holiday destination.
The move is aimed at increasing the ranking of the Islands as a quality all-year-round holiday resort offering facilities for sporting, cultural and business tourism.

The Balearic Tourism Minister, Miquel Nadal, signed an agreement yesterday with the President of the Balearic Golf Course Association (ACGB), Jose Jimenez on launching a campaign to give a high profile to Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza as being the ideal choice for golfing enthusiasts.
