A leading bookmaker is so sure Prince William will marry Kate Middleton next year that it has stopped taking bets on a 2011 wedding.
William Hill has instead opened a market on which month the prince will marry his long-term girlfriend and where they will go on honeymoon. The bookie rates June 2011 as the most likely month for the Royal wedding at 1/2, with July 3/1, January to May 4/1, August 7/1 and September to December 10/1.

The exclusive private island of Mustique in the Caribbean is favourite for the couple's honeymoon at 4/1, followed by Saint Tropez in the south of France at 11/2, with a Butlins resort in the UK at 250/1 and Magalluf on Majorca at 500/1.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: “Almost every bet we have taken in the last six months suggests a 2011 wedding and as a result we have decided that the market is no longer viable. “It is now simply a question of which month and where they are going on honeymoon.”
