Train station is moving

THE train station in Plaza de España (Palma) will be moving as from 17 August to calle Jacinto Verdaguer, so that the underground work to lay the train tracks and to build a new train terminal can be finished. This provisional train station will guarantee that the train services in Palma can still run all the timetables without any delays or interruptions, said a spokesperson from the Ministry for Public Works, Housing and Transport. Furthermore, a walkway will be made available for pedestrians going to the train station and who need to cross the calles Jordi Andreu Alcover and Santo Vicente Ferrer. The Ministry hopes the changes do not cause any inconvenience.
