MINIMUM temperatures were higher than 23ºC along the Balearic coasts, which is considered “tropical” and makes it difficult to sleep.
Although temperatures did not reach the levels of a heatwave, the minimums were considered very high, reaching 25.4º in Porto Pi and 25.2º in Ibiza.
The maximum temperatures were above 30ºC, but not high enough to be considered a heatwave. The day was very cloudy with some scattered showers.
Greater instability is expected today, with scattered showers and storms, according to the weatherman, who added there would be cloudy intervals alternating with clear skies. Although temperatures in July were between 1 and 1.5º higher than average, the start of August is proving to be slightly cooler than usual.
