THE Guardia Civil has seized 4'350 kilos of marijuana in Portocolom.
Thanks to this operation they have disbanded an organisation which was bringing the drug in from Morocco for distribution on the island and to other areas in Spain and central Europe. According to Guardia Civil sources, three Moroccan citizens aged 33, 34 and 35, have been arrested.
The organisation, formed mostly by citizens of Morocco, was bringing the marijuana into Palma from Morocco using semi rigid boats.
The drug was then distributed to other gang members in Majorca and part of it was taken to the Spanish mainland, bound for Italy and central European countries.
