Pollensa Fishermen's Association celebrates its first 100th anniversary

The Fishermen's Association of the Port of Pollensa is celebrating its first centenary.
As it was originally founded at the start of November in 1912, activities and commemorations are already being planned to last the rest of the year.
Pollensa artist Joan Bennassar has designed an original poster paying tribute to the Fishermen's Association, whilst Pere Sales and Joan Torres are writing a book documenting the Association's history.

Head Fisherman Joan Suau said that his members were still planning events for November and that there will certainly be a conference and exhibitions of old photographs.
