Palma.Over the past year the Cala NovaCancer Shop has had a busy time and have been able to make several donations.
Including cheques to Aspanob , the cancer support group and many more new ventures.
In May the Cala Nova Cancer Shop was very happy to make a donation of 10'000euros to the AECC , the Associacion Española Contra Cancer in the Balearic Islands.
Nearly half of the amount will be destinated to a program for screening for Cancer of the Colon in order to convince the Balearic Health Service to give Colon screening to all citizens between the ages of 50 and 69 as standard, the same as for breast screening. This first Colon Cancer screening will take place in the town of Muro for their citizens very shortly. The AECC have collected thousands of signatures to support this demand for Colon screening and that it should become available from the Health Service for the citizens of the Balearics.

Angela and her team of volunteers are now working on their second fashion show which will be held on the 6 September at the Santa Ponsa Country Club.We look forward to seeing you all tickets will soon be on sale.
