SOLLER
A 47 year old German hiker who had been reported missing was found uninjured yesterday morning in Sa Costera, in the municipality of Soller.
The man had got lost, according to sources from the Council of Majorca Fire Brigade, after he went hiking on Thursday afternoon (carrying water and a sandwich) from the hotel where he was staying in the Port of Soller.

His wife raised the alarm when he did not return that night.
The Soller Rescue Group and the Fire Brigade's Tracker Dog Unit started the search immediately.
Finally, yesterday morning at around 9.45am the crew of a boat belonging to the Ministry for the Environment, which was cleaning the coast, found him safe and sound in Sa Costera.

From there he was transferred to the Soller Health Centre, where he was examined but released after he was found to be in a good state of health.
