A woman aged 81, sitting in her home in Son Ferriol, was seriously injured when a car ploughed into the side of the house after being involved in a collision with another car and a bus on Sunday. She was rushed to hospital, as were two children injured in the same crash, although it was unclear if they were in the house or in one of the vehicles. The police are investigating the cause of the crash which led to tailbacks on the Manacor road.
There was also a spectacular crash in Cala Rajada earlier in the day, with one car overturning.
