CAN PICAFORT
MASKED infiltrators successfully ruffled the feathers of the law yesterday by throwing live ducks into the water at the annual duck-catching competition at Can Picafort, a practice now deemed illegal.

In the space of less than a minute, traditionalists had daringly swooped into the bay on jet ski machines with no registration markings and at a safe distance from the massed group of swimmers waiting to retrieve the now health-and-safety approved replacement plastic ducks.

The invaders then swam with the live birds to where the official release was about to take place. In seconds, a flock of ten ducks was swimming of its own accord amongst the bathers and the masked men took advantage of the confusion to make their escape.
