Palma.The City's Municipal Parking Company (SMAP) has only managed to sell four parking places since a batch in different parts of Palma were put up for sale in February this year. Two of them in Calle Manacor have sold for 10'113 euros each, a 28 percent discount on their original price and two others in Santa Pagesa which went for 14'836 - a discount of 22%. SMAP's President, Sebastia Sanso, said that his organisation is now in negotiation with local companies to make arrangements for their staff to use municipal parking lots, including the Central Station underground carpark in Plaza España, as yet unfinished.
