A four-year wait for the village of Calonge in Santanyi to be connected to the sewage treatment plant in Cala Ferrera in the municipality of Felanitx is now over, a Balearic Water and Environmental Quality (Abaqua) spokesman said. He explained that because of Calonge's geographical position, it is much more efficient operationally for the village to be linked to the Cala Ferrera plant.
