A JAPANESE couple and their nine year old son, who are spending several days in Magalluf, got a nasty surprise, when their hire car caught on fire. The tourists had decided to hire a Renault Clio car for the day and travel to the Port of Andratx. On the way, when they were at the Peguera and Cala Fornells junction, the bonnet of the car burst into flames. The local police and fire brigade were at the scene within the minutes, and extinguished the fire.
