Queen Sofia yesterday visited Palma's Food Bank and came up with a number of ways in which stocks for the needy could be boosted further.

The Queen, who recently visited the Catholic charity Caritas in Palma, toured the main distribution centre at Mercapalma accompanied by the Minister for Health and Social Services, Ana Mato, the central government delegate, Teresa Palmer and the Mayor of Palma, Mateo Isern, who welcomed her majesty to the food bank.
