THE central Minister of the Environment, Cristina Narbona, and the Leader of the Balearic Government, Jaume Matas, yesterday took part in the traditional release of the turtles from the national park of Cabrera island. Narbona warned that when responsibility for running the park is transferred to the Balearics, the islands will “have to follow the rules of the game” and be treated the same as other regions. She pointed out that the park has already received “substantially more” than parks in other regions so far.
