The global marine conservation organisation Oceana reported yesterday that during its first dives down the Emile Baudot escarpment, a large rocky wall to the south of Cabrera, of which nothing about its ecosystem is known, a large diversity of maruinme fauna and protected species have been found and filmed at a depth of around 1,000 metres.

The images and being filmed by a robot submarine in a vast network of underwater caverns and caves in marine life have been found.
