Balearic Symphony Orchestra musicians could lose their homes after three months without being paid and no sight of an agreement with the managment.

Palma.—The government has allegedly agreed to pay 1,600,000 million euros to cover the debts and overdue wages to the musicians of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra but inside sources from the group told the Bulletin yesterday, they are still completely in the dark and until further notice the strike, which has been on since June, will continue.

The money promised by the government would mean the financial problems of the orchestra would be solved at least until the end of December, but the group is adamant, that it will take much longer to finish the strike and have presented a list of demands (see box) to put an end to the situation.
