An investigation has been opened into the death of a 45-year-old man who was knocked down and killed as he tried to cross the Palma to Lluchmajor motorway in the early hours of yesterday morning. According to the 061 emergency centre, the accident happened just before 1am and there was sadly nothing paramedics could do to save the victim who was carrying no ID.
